Our Team:

Our department members are dedicated to growing a truly academic department in three areas: clinical care, research and education.  We have nearly 80 faculty Anesthesiologists and over 110 CRNAs in the department working in an anesthesia care team model to achieve our goals.

Additionally, in association with affiliated institutions, we currently provide rich training experiences for SRNAs rotating with our team.

Locations:

MD Anderson main campus includes 37 inpatient operating rooms, 6 outpatient ORs, and 16 off-site procedural rooms. There are two regional centers (Katy & Woodlands) with 6 procedural areas incorporating endoscopy, interventional radiology, and cardiopulmonary services. The total Case volume is over 45,000 cases per year.
