Program Year 2020 Data Are Now Available!
On June 30, 2021, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) published the Program Year 2020 data. The data published consist of payments or transfers of value that reporting entities made to covered recipients during the 2020 Program Year (January 1–December 31, 2020). The 2020 Program Year consisted of $9.12 billion and 6.38 million records. CMS recognizes the impact the COVID-19 pandemic had on Program Year 2020.

Are You Ready for Open Payments?
Nurse anesthetists will be a part of the upcoming Program Year 2021 Open Payments data! In 2021, the Open Payments definition of a covered recipient expanded to include nurse anesthetists. This means certain interactions that nurse anesthetists have with reporting entities may now be reportable for the purpose of Open Payments. You should familiarize yourself with the program and learn about what may be collected and reported about you. The data collected in Program Year 2021 (January 1–December 31, 2021) will be published in June 2022.
